Join us as we head to the world-class Perez Cruz and Santa Rita wineries for educational tours and even better tastings. Salud!
After pick-up, we'll begin our exclusive tour with a visit to Perez Cruz, a boutique winery located on the estate grounds of the Perez Cruz family in the Maipo Alto Valley. The vineyard is surrounded by beautiful scenery which complements the modern, elegant architecture of the manor. Here we'll sample the Maipo Alto Valley's finest wines at Perez Cruz.
Once the previous activity is finished, we will head toward Santa Rita winery to experience it's grape variety garden, vineyards, winemaking and cellaring process, and bottling process, visiting “Bodega 1”, the winery’s first cellar, and the “Cellar of the 120 Patriots”, where you will discover the exciting story that gives 120 its name. The tour ends with a tasting of their finest wines: two Gran Reserva and two Ultra-Premium vintages.
Afterward, we will go for a delicious lunch in Santa Rita's traditional restaurant "Doña Paula. The mansion is a classic example of colonial architecture, with white walls that display paintings from artistic movements such as the Cusco, Quito, and Potosí schools, high bamboo ceilings with exposed beams, and a wide variety of period antiques on show. The setting is also idyllic, with views out over the vineyards and a broad passageway leading to the courtyard garden. After tasting all the exquisite wines, we'll head back to the hotel in Santiago for a relaxing evening.
