"We are incredibly honored to have been recognized by Time," Representative Helen Cordery says. "We take this as proof that the rest of the world is as committed to sustainability as we are. Hopefully, this movement will only grow worldwide."

EcoCamp was the world’s first geodesic hotel, based on the traditional shelters of Torres del Paine National Park’s original inhabitants, the Kaweskar. It is completely sustainable, utilizing solar and hydro energy to power the dome complex, and they promote nature immersion through digital detoxification.
