Timothy is warmly welcomed to the Cascada team as our new EcoCamp Patagonia Community Manager. Driven by an insatiable wanderlust, he has left his native Hesdin in the north of France in a bid to uncover the tales the soaring peaks of the Andes and the immensity of the Chilean desert have to tell. He has brought his great expertise to Cascada as a result of his desire to immerse
himself in the inimicable Chilean culture which he has come to love, whilst also protecting and caring for its precious natural spaces, meaning that future generations will have the same wonderful opportunity for years to come. When he takes a well-deserved rest, creative Timothy loves to wander the countryside in search of that perfect, inspiring spot to take a moment to marvel at the way our planet never stops surprising us, plucking the strings of his guitar with a glass of good wine on one side, and his trusty camera on the other. Timothy knows that just one day in buzzing Santiago
will never be enough, but he recommends a whirlwind tour around the Mercado Central, relishing the fresh food and flavours, before taking a stroll up the Cerro Santa Lucía to soak up the vastness of the city and its mountainous backdrop. He hopes that when you bid farewell to Chile, not only will you have satisfied your thirst for adventure (for now, anyway!), but that you will also leave inspired by the Cascada team’s infectious passion for sustainable, responsible tourism.
Erin is Cascada's brand new Copywriter and resident Aussie. After leaving for a simple European holiday in 2007, she decided on a whim to move to Spain. Several years of careful studies in the Spanish arts of tortilla eating and arriving late followed, however, after hearing tales of this great continent from her Latin
American friends, South America began whispering from across the ocean. In 2012, she set off on her dream adventure: twelve months of traipsing from Ushuaia to Santa Marta, a trip which ended up in a second spontaneous decision: another move, this time to Chile. Erin's favourite Chilean corner is the mystical Chiloé and she always makes a beeline for strong coffee, Vietnamese food and anything spicy.
