As I was a child, my parents always described Chile to me as a long and thin country, with heaps of giant mountains. That’s about all I knew about the land. I had no idea Chile had so many contrasts that made it so unique compared to the other countries in South America.

The first Geodesic Hotel in the world is also the first in Chilean Patagonia to be rewarded for our commitment to sustainability with the Platinum level - the highest level of distinction. The Greenleaders program rewards hotels who are committed to environmentally friendly tourism.
On Thursday 19th June 2014, Cascada Expediciones, along with 19 other Chilean tourism companies and associations, took a monumental step in the history of the tourism industry by becoming one of the first Chilean companies to sign the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism Agreement, developed by the World Tourism Organisation.
