Waterfalls and Lookout Points
- Distance: 7 hours

This is the recommended excursion for those who wish to see most of Torres del Paine National Park in one day without major physical effort. We start with an introduction at the Visitor Center before heading to the Salto Grande waterfall. Here, we take a short walk to a viewpoint from which we have a view of the Paine Grande massif. Then we head to the Lago Nordenskjöld viewpoint, followed by the Amarga Lagoon to see the Paine River Falls and its panoramic views of the famous Torres del Paine. Finally, we go to Laguna Azul where we will have a picnic lunch to recover our energy.
Base Torres Trek
- Distance: 8 hours/12Km
- Difficulty: HIGH
One of the park’s most famous hikes, this excursion, known for its steep and demanding ascent, is not recommended for those not accustomed to long-distance hikes, but the effort is worth it as it has the best view of the park’s iconic granite towers. Starting with an hour and a half climb along the Ascencio River and heading into the massif, we’ll rest at a camp before continuing on for 1.5 hours. The final hour is the hardest, zigzagging up a moraine of loose rock. But at the top is the classic view of the Towers, where we pause for lunch and pictures, before returning via the same trail.
Half day excursions
