We’ve relaunched our 5 day Patagonia Winter Adventure for 2013! This scenic tour offers an exciting array of activities including sea kayaking with dolphins, horsebacking riding through the Patagonian plains and visiting Torres del Paine National Park. This winter adventure is perfect for anyone wanting to discover the magic of Patagonia in all its winter glory during their northern hemisphere summer vacation.
You arrive in Punta Arenas and enjoy a city tour of the city’s interesting landmarks, steeped in rich maritime history. The city is famous for its port, as well as being the airport gateway to Antarctica and the rest of Chilean Patagonia. Day 2 you go kayaking at San Isidro Cape where you’ll hopefully see schools of dolphins as you paddle through pristine landscapes. Day 3 you go horse riding at Dorotea hill with a traditional Patagonian Baqueano after discovering the charms of Puerto Natales, capital of the Ultima Esperanza (Last Hope) province in Magallanes founded in 1911 as a sheep industry port. Day 4 you visit the majestic Torres del Paine National Park and marvel at the brilliant blue icebergs floating on Grey lake as well as the striking snow-capped Paine massif. The final night is spent in Puerto Natales before heading back to Punta Arenas on day 5.
