We had a fabulous trip. The eco-camp was quite nice (loved the thick fleece sheets), the refugios were more than we expected, and the food was nutritious and appetizing. But the best part of the trip, of course, was the beautiful scenery we hiked to and around.

No one at home can understand or conceive of the magnitude of the glaciers we saw or the Patagonian wind we felt.  It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

The booking process could not be easier, the information pack provided all the information necessary, the pick-up and transport to the park was very smooth, the guides were absolutely brilliant, the accommodation throughout was excellent and the food was good. I could not recommend your company highly enough. The whole trip left nothing to be desired. It was also very nice to have a glass of chilean red wine every night. My son, Jack enjoyed the trip as much as I did.

The trip was bigger and better than we had anticipated in all aspects.  Eco-Camp and our guides there were wonderful.  We were very snug in our little Hobbit domes with their comfortable double beds and wooden floor.  There is a chef at Eco-Camp!  Who knew!

We found Chile beautiful, the food excellent, and the Chilean people warm, friendly, and welcoming.

Easter Island was amazing and intriguing. paradise without crowds!

The wine tour was very nice as well.

Our friends continue to ask how we could have arranged such a trip.  I have and shall continue to direct them to Cascada.  You took very good care of us each step along the

I just wanted to say a very big MUCHAS GRACIAS for the wonderful trip my friend and I just returned from!

The W Trek was amazing! The scenery and hiking far exceeded my expectations.The Ecocamp was great!

Our time in Santiago was enjoyable as well. The Valparaiso tour was fun and I would definitely like to spend more time in that city on my next trip.  Also, the wine tour was excellent!

This truly was a trip of a lifetime for me and I really appreciate the great job Cascada did in making it all happen.

Thanks again for everything. I hope to be traveling to Chile again in the near future and I will definitely be using Cascada for help in arranging that trip!!

Gina and I had a wonderful time in Patagonia.  All in all, we both had the best vacations of our lives in Chile and would / will highly recommend the Eco-camp trips to our friends and family.  We were extremely fortunate in several respects (…) Lastly, I cannot thank the Eco-camp staff enough for their extraordinary efforts to make Gina’s birthday special — her best ever!

Sehr zu empfehlen der Aufenthalt im Eco Camp. Ökologisch sehr eindrucksvoll. Interessierte, angenehme, gebildete Gäste. Kein Massenbetrieb. Besonders freundliche gar individuelle Betreuung und Bewirtung. Gutes Essen. Häuslich familiäre Atmosphäre in den Restaurantzelten, gemütlich eingerichtet. Abends angenehme Wärme an den Kaminöfen. Viel Infomaterial und Alben, Bücher über Geschichte, Fauna und Flora liegen aus. Kompetente Wanderführer der kleinen, überschaubarten Wandergruppen (10 Personen und zwei Wanderführer, die für alle Tage im Eco Camp für die Gruppe verantwortlich sind, mit denen sich auch Veränderungen bei den Touren verabreden lassen). Es entstehen rasch neue Bekanntschaften, ja Freundschaften. Die Super Domes entsprechen in ihrer Einrichtung 5 Sterne Hotelzimmern. Merkwürdig, dass das Eco Camp noch in kaum einem der Reiseführer erwähnt wird (oder auch gut so). Danke schön Kerstin (Traduction) The stay at the Ecocamp is very recommendable. Ecologically impressive. Interesting, enjoyable and well-educated guests. No mass treatment. Particularly friendly, even individual hospitality. Good food. Homely and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant-domes, comfortably equipped. Nice and warm in the evenings due to the wood-stoves in the evenings. Lots of information-material, albums, books about history, fauna and flora. Professional guides for small groups (10 people and two guides who are responsible for the group all days and who are open to changes in the excursions as well). New acquaintances and even friendships arise rapidly. The super-domes correspond in their equipment to 5-star-hotels. It is strange that ecocamp is not mentioned in most of the travel guides (but maybe better this way).

El Colorado Ride (Karen Stringer Chu)

Thank you for your message. Yes, we are back home now and enjoyed our horseride and our time in Santiago. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was not too hot. Our guide was good ...... We enjoyed having such a small group. With only three of us, it was a much more personal experience. One of the things we enjoyed most was the ‘Huaso’ that rode with us! It made the experience seem much more authentic and less “touristy”, if you know what I mean. I’ve attached a couple of photos from the top of El Colorado – one of me and my husband and one of the horses with the beautiful scenery. Thanks and Happy Holidays, Karen

7d Torres del Paine Trek (D. Randolph Watts)

Sorry to be slow replying during the Christmas holidays. We were VERY pleased with the 7-day Torres del Paine Trek. Fabulous.. Superb. The Ecocamp facilities were great,as were also the two Refugios. The information that you supplied ahead of time to us was fully informing and helped us to prepare and to understand what to expect on the Trek. The guides, Eduardo and Roberto, were excellent and fun. We would recommend the 7-day trek enthusiastically to anybody who really likes to hike. Cheers, Randy Watts

Torres del Paine Trek (John Pain)

The trip was oustanding. Our guide Rodrigo and his assistant Roberto were incredible. They are knowledgable, fun-loving and extremely helpful. My wife hurt her ankle and Rodrigo expertly figured out it was nothing major and wrapped it. The management and other staff at the camp were also quick to help during our stay and kept everything running smoothly. I can't remember the manager's name, but he was great too. Barbara's cooking was delicious and it was welcome after long days trekking. I hope Cascada knows how special the staffers at the Ecocamp are, because they make the beauty of Torres del Paine and the environmental aspects of the camp even better. We can't wait to make our next trip!

Patagonia (Betsy Campbell, UK)

We had a great time with the Cascada team. Mauricio was terrific with the kids and a pleasure to be with all around. Pedro did a great job orienting us as to what to expect from each walk and making everyone in our diverse little group comfortable with their own pace. The eco camp is terrific. We were very comfortable there. I wish we'd had better weather, especially for the first couple of days...but what can you do. We will certainly recommend Cascada for future travelers.
