  • Ecocamp Patagonia opened in 2001 and has been receiving increasing numbers of guests each year. During the 2010-2011 season Ecocamp received 1600 guests in total
  • We have a total of 25 Guest Domes at Ecocamp Patagonia: 10 Suite Domes, 13 Standard Domes and 2 Superior Domes. Additionally, there are 3 Community Domes where guests have breakfast and dinner and relax in the evenings.
  • Our biggest-selling markets are the USA, the UK, Canada and Australia. We also sell significant numbers of trips to the rest of Europe and South America and a small number in Asia and Africa.
  • Ecocamp has won Virgin Holidays and National Geographic awards for its environmentally-sustainable policies
  • We became a carbon-neutral company in 2008 and between June 2009 and June 2010 we offset 183.68 tons of CO2 emissions
  • Ecocamp Patagonia has been ISO14.001 certified. This is the only lodge or hotel to date in all of Chile and Patagonia that has chosen to be evaluated according to these standards.
  • EcoCamp has the world's southern-most composting device
  • 40% of our energy is solar and 60% hydro-electric. We only use gas to heat water and Superior Domes.
